FreedRemote
Reaching your own PC should not cost a monthly fee.
See and control your Windows PC from an Android tablet or another Windows PC. Formerly called RemoteDesk and FreedDesk. Currently in testing.
What it does
Low latency
The two devices connect directly, with no relay server in between. The PC compresses its screen with the GPU's hardware encoder.
End-to-end encrypted
Screen and input are encrypted between your devices, and the PC proves its identity with its own signing key.
No setup on the router
No extra ID, no password, no port forwarding. Sign in with the same Google account and your PCs appear in a list.
Light on the PC
Frames are sent only when the screen changes, and capture and encoding run on the GPU.

Where your files live
Screen and input travel only over the direct connection and are stored nowhere. Connection details sit in a hidden app folder in your own Google Drive, and nothing is sent to a Freedware server.
Freedware never holds your account or files hostage. Details are in the FreedRemote privacy policy (Korean).
